ASA - Magazine: This will be an Bi-annual ( Summer/Winter) magazine. It will highlight events of the different groups during the past semester and announcements of events in the coming semester. It will also highlight topics of concern to the African student community. Highlight important career, scholarship, and employment and business opportunities. It will also highlight the past Leadership Conference...pictures, and honors. Have business ads and coupons. It will also have the ASA Card participating member information’s. Our goal is to start 2009.

ASA - Leadership Awards Banquet: This is where we recognize special individuals for their effort and commitment to their society as a whole. Our goal is to start 2009.

ASA Savings Program: Co-operate with African Businesses and business around campuses. To give a discount to ASA card members. Our Goal to start 2009

ASA Mentor/ Tutoring Program: Our College students tutoring middle and highschool students. Fostering a bond between the two.Our Goal to start 2010

ASA – Annual Leadership Conference: This will be a forum where Students across Michigan Universities come together to network, and exchange ideas on issues that concern African students and the continent. This will be done by seminars, workshops. Our Goal is to start 2010

ASA Library: This is a medium through which ONLY members of ASA can have access to free textbooks to be used during a semester. Our Goal is to Start 2010

ASA VAN: Need a van to provide transport services to students from their homes to the school, market places, religious institutions, federal buildings, hospital and airport, or greyhound stations and trips alike Our Goal 2011.

ASA Emergency Loans: Provide students with small loans towards books, rent , food and clothes.

ASA - Calendar: This will have the pictures of the current groups for each month. It will also highlight the current year Mr. & Ms. Africa of that year. It will also highlight any event that is known for that year. Our goal is to start 2011.

ASA African Summer Camp: This is a forum for 14 through 18 years old to get involved with Projects and programs that develop them with the knowledge of Africa. Tours to the different ASA Michigan Groups. Mentor / Mentee relationships. Our Goal is to Start 2011

ASA - Group Scholarships: 5 students will be chosen to represent the group at an all expense trip to the National ASA Leadership Conference. It will be a one time a year opportunity. This will be as the funds are available. Our goal is to start 2011.

ASA - Outstanding Student Scholarship: This will be given to five students from a participating school that shows an extra effort to promote Africa on their campus through commitment in service and participation in their ASA- group on campus. Our goal is to start 2011.

ASA - Hostel: Will be an apartment style/ House with multiple rooms that will give ASA - members an opportunity to live around their campus at a discount rate. Also it will provide housing for International African students who don’t have family here. Our goal is to start 2012.
